Welcome to the First Chamber of The Cruise
All magical stories start with crossing the threshold. Going through a portal to another land.
The First Mission, if you choose to accept it, is to:
Find a bike, make it safe, go for a ride until smiling.
Riding a Bicycle for Joy is the 1st Portal.
It’s a door between your old life and getting closer to what you want.
Don’t worry about how or why, for now.
Just go for a ride.
After all, it’s just like riding a bike.
- Step One: Find a bike. [ANY BIKE]
- Step Two: Check it’s Wings – Make is safe.
- Step Three: Just ride around. Jam in the cul de sac. Ride until you smile. Ride in the parking lot behind the Alpha Beta. Just ride for no reason, in no direction, with no thought of going anywhere. Make space in your head.
- Mission Accomplished: When you smile like a kid, you’ll know you are Cruising – Joy. Elation. Connection.
Warning: You may have to fight the urge to GO SOMEWHERE. To accomplish something.
That’s ok. We suggest your first ride be short. Under 30 minutes. The goal is to get a small win.
Just go have fun.
For most adults, it’s harder than it sounds.
Homework: Find Your Beach.
Next Steps: Enter the next Chamber.
